Why A Consultation With Dr. Rothbart Is Different Than With Other Doctors
Profile Of A Typical Candidate For Therapy
On February 12, 2013, famed performer Lady Gaga tweeted out to her more than 35 million followers that she was canceling a large part of her upcoming tour because of a hip injury and chronic joint pain.
Shortly thereafter, the entire multi-million dollar tour was canceled so that Gaga could have hip surgery. Anyone that’s seen their income slide because of a battle with chronic joint pain can surely empathize.
Born on March 28th, 1986, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, known by the world as Lady Gaga, has been suffering for years from chronic joint pain in her right hip, non-specific fatigue, breathing difficulty, headaches, anxiety and depression.
When someone has this wide range of non-specific reoccurring symptoms and these symptoms fit the general profile of the autoimmune disease Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, doctors run an anti-nuclear antibody (ANA Test). If that test comes back positive, there is a 95% probability that the patient has lupus.
When Lady Gaga recently took the ANA Test the results came back positive. Because of her test results and wide array of varied symptoms, her physician diagnosed her as borderline lupus. The diagnosis of borderline lupus means that the doctors aren’t 100% sure that Lady Gaga has Lupus.
The reason her doctors aren’t completely sure she has Lupus is because the ANA Test is not an absolute indicator of Lupus. When this test comes back positive, 5% of the time it’s wrong (a ‘false positive’).
Lady Gaga may have Lupus or she may not. At this point no one knows for sure. But what I am sure of is that there is another problem that causes many of the exact same symptoms that Lupus exhibits.
I viewed some of Lady Gaga’s photos and concert videos and saw that she has a postural distortional pattern in her pelvis and shoulders. Plus, her feet twist (abnormally pronate). Lady Gaga’s distorted posture, foot twist and other wide range of symptoms all tell me that she was most likely born with an abnormal foot structure – either the Rothbarts Foot or the PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity. And it is this foot structure (and most likely not Lupus) that is causing her problems.
Born This Way – Lady Gaga Is Not The Only Celebrity With Inherited Chronic Pain
In reading some of my other blogs about famous persons, you may have noticed that I’ve made this same observation of chronic joint pain caused by an abnormal foot structure when referring to Paris Hilton, Anna Nicole Smith, Toby Maguire, Melanie Griffith, Elizabeth Taylor, Bo Dereck, Yao Ming, Rafael Nadal and many other celebrities who are suffering with chronic pain.
You may be wondering: How is it possible that all these celebrities could have the same problem – an abnormal foot structure – causing their chronic pain? The answer is simple and factual – both the Rothbarts Foot and the PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity are COMMON foot structures.
This bears repeating – these abnormal foot structures are COMMON.
In fact, about 80% of the world population are born with either a Rothbarts Foot or PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity, hence the reason why so many millions of people have chronic muscle and joint pain and the multitude of other symptoms that are caused by these abnormal foot structures.
Lady Gaga’s act may be unique, but her inherited abnormal feet are not. And if my observations of her foot structure are correct, having hip surgery will not end her chronic hip pain. Sadly, Gaga may end up as just another talented performer who, like Elizabeth Taylor, finds her life turned into a never-ending parade of drugs and surgery. I surely hope not.
Reading the Curing Chronic Pain website will give you more information about the abnormal foot structures Professor/ Dr.Rothbart discovered that cause many forms of chronic muscle and joint pain, including chronic hip pain, and can help you determine whether an Initial Phone Consultation with Professor/Dr. Rothbart might be helpful.
