Chronic pain is defined as pain anywhere in the body, lasting more than twelve weeks. It may arise from an initial injury such as a low back sprain, or there may be an ongoing cause such as an illness. Chronic pain can also occur when there’s no clear cause, and is such termed idiopathic.
One of the most common types of chronic pain is chronic muscle and joint pain. Chronic muscle and joint pain is pandemic – millions of people worldwide suffer with this devastating problem.
Chronic muscle and joint pain includes; chronic foot pain, chronic knee pain, chronic hip pain, chronic sciatic pain http://www.curingchronicpain.com/category/chronic-sciatic-pain and chronic back pain, just to name a few.
Currently, chronic muscle and joint pain is often linked to arthritis and it is considered to be a normal part of aging. However, current research suggests that chronic muscle and joint pain is not linked to aging, but to something else very specific going on in the body.
In fact, a common cause of chronic muscle and joint pain comes from having one of two inherited, abnormal foot structures – the Rothbarts Foot or PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity. About 85 % of the world population has one of these foot structures. If you have a Rothbarts Foot or PreClinical Clubfoot, you will most likely suffer with chronic muscle and joint pain – anywhere in your body – at some point in your life.
Depending on the severity of your abnormal foot structure, your chronic pain may start as a child, or occur later on in life. The severity of your foot structure also determines whether your pain will be mild, moderate or debilitating.
