If you suffer with chronic pain, you might find yourself leading a life of contradictions. You’re wreathing in pain, while at the same time you usually look healthy and robust. Ergo, no one believes that you hurt.
This conundrum can make it difficult for you to effectively relate to your family and friends that you’re almost always in pain! And because many people hold the subconscious belief that pain manifests itself as an open wound, a gauze bandage wrapped around your head or confinement to a wheel chair; it’s hard for them to fathom that you – who have none of these visual aids – could possibly be suffering so greatly.
MDs hopefully don’t hold this same subconscious belief as your family and friends, but unfortunately they’re not adequately trained in the area of chronic muscle and joint pain, its’ common cause and its’ myriad of symptoms throughout the body. So what happens -more times than not – after a legion of tests are run and all the results come back ‘normal’, your doctor comes to the conclusion that you’re a hypochondriac or worse (you have psychological problems) so they dismiss what you’re trying to tell them.
End result – you become more and more despondent and depressed because your pain is unrelenting and no one is listening to your cries for help. No one believes that you hurt.
The last piece of advice that you need at this point is to take an anti-depressant, but that’s exactly what your doctor then prescribes. You take the painkillers, but you’re still in pain and now you’re spending your days zoned out in front of the TV or walking around like a zombie.
Why You Hurt
Unless you’re also suffering with headaches, your chronic pain is not “All in your head.” Your pain is real and there’s a concrete reason why you have it.
And if you directly treat this reason (the cause of your pain), your multiple body symptoms, including your pain, will be greatly reduced or totally eliminated.
The most common cause that leads a person into chronic pain are two inherited, abnormal foot structures – the Rothbarts Foot and PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity.
Even though I’ve published a great deal of information about these common foot structures, they frequently go undiagnosed because most healthcare providers are still unaware of them.
If no one believes that you hurt and they’re not willing to take your complaints seriously, you need to take matters into your own hands. First, stop relying on your physician’s prescription pad. Then, take the Rothbarts Foot Questionnaire here: http://www.curingchronicpain.com/rothbarts-foot-questionnaire
If the results indicate that you may have an abnormal foot structure, then the light at the end of the tunnel has just become much brighter. Make your Initial Phone Consultation with me here http://www.curingchronicpain.com/schedule-an-initial-phone-consultation and begin your journey to recovery.
Reading the Curing Chronic Pain website will give you more information about the abnormal foot structures Professor/Dr. Rothbart discovered that cause many forms of chronic muscle and joint pain and help you determine whether an Initial Phone Consultation with him might be helpful.
